Manse L’Estrange is the name of the Bayou St. John house from which the Talliston kitchen is inspired. Based on an actual New Orleans property, our version is a homage to mercantile homes from the 1950s America, designed to be the place for a perfect Sunday morning breakfast. So what better way to complete that experience than with one of two mouth-watering preserves from legendary Wilkin & Sons from Tiptree, Essex.
The choices come in two mouth-watering flavours:
• Strawberry Jam with Champagne
• Orange Marmalade with Malt Whiskey
The addition of champagne or a wee dram of malt whiskey means you can celebrate breakfast in style!
The Wilkin family have been farming at Tiptree, Essex, since 1757, and making quality preserves onsite since 1885. They grow a wide range of traditional English fruits and use them to make conserves and condiments in our nut-free factory by the farm.
Tiptree products are made to cherished recipes and are free from artificial colours and flavours. The fruits are inspected and prepared by hand then cooked in small batches using traditional, copper-bottomed pans. Tiptree received its first Royal Warrant from George V in 1911, and remain Royal Warrant holders as purveyors of Tiptree Products to His Majesty, Charles III.
