La Niña (Spanish for The Girl) was one of the three Spanish ships used by Italian explorer Christopher Columbus in his first voyage to the West Indies in 1492.

 

The handcrafted wooden hull is made from high quality cherry, black walnut, birch and rosewood with historically accurate sails sewn with the  Spanish cross and arms.

 

This 1:91 scale model ship comes fully assembled for immediate display.

 

Found everywhere in the house and gardens, the central symbol of Talliston is the ship.
