One-of-a-kind, hand crafted light catcher goddess depicting one of the four house guardians from the mythical moon calendar at Talliston. Choose between:
Faerie Queen
Goddess of the Spring Equinox on 21 March (Talliston’s first day of spring).
Faerie King
God of the Autumn Equinox on 21 September (Talliston’s first day of autumn).
Lady Midsummer
Goddess of the Summer Solstice on 21 June (Talliston’s first day of summer) and the Feast Day of Midsummer on 1 August (Talliston’s Midsummer’s Day).
Lord Midwinter
God of the Winter Solstice on 21 December (Talliston’s first day of winter) and the Feast Day of Midwinter on 1 February (Talliston’s Midwinter’s Day).
Each piece is cut and painted with black enamel, then the design is scratched off. Kiln fired at 650 ˚C to make the designs permanent and weatherproof, then piece is then copper foiled and soldered. The blackened patina is applied and scrubbed to an antique gunmetal finish. Each light catcher is hung from copper wire and topped with a glass bead.
